You will receive a counter top display with the Jayu Beacon mounted to it. We recommend that you place this near your point of sale and tell your customers about it. Users will be able to view your store on the nearby home screen in the app. Please contact us for additional in store marketing materials.
You are provided a username and password for a Merchant portal that allows you to change your store photos, operating hours, phone number, rewards program and more. You have complete control to change what you want. Feel free to contact us for assitance.
Jayu is a point based rewards program. You provide a list of rewards for your customers. For each reward you create, you input the amount of points needed for a customer to receive that reward. The points are subtracted after they receive their reward.
If you use solutions such as Groupon, MailChimp, or punch cards Jayu is still a effective tool for your business. Get new customers in the door with Groupon, and have them join your Jayu Rewards program afterwards. Continue to use stamp cards, but offer Jayu as the digital option of your stamp card.
Customers can easily download the app from their app store or visit www.jayu.me on their mobile phone.
You literally don’t need anything to run Jayu. No WiFi, no power, no wires. The Jayu Beacon runs on it’s own for over a year.
You can manage multiple stores through one Merchant Portal, and assign management of individual stores to store managers or others. Each store requires a seperate subscription plan.

How it Works
The owner has complete control of your Rewards profile. However you can give permissions to others to manage your store. You can also restrict mangers to certain actions.
Jayu beacons send specially configured signals to trigger the delivery of reward points and promotional messages through the Jayu App. They do not require external power, WiFi, or any wires; the internal battery can last more than a year. We will replace your beacon or battery once the battery’s power is projected to be at 20%.
When your customers have haave enough points for a reward it will be highlighted green. They simply tap the reward for a confirmation display. They show the confirmation screen to your employee who treats the confirmation screen as any other coupon, discount, or special you run. All transaction are logged on your Merchant Portal.
Your customers can leave you private feedback on the App through comment cards. All comments can be seen on your Merchant Portal, and you have the option to reply back to them personally.
Yes, your customers will need bluetooth low energy to be active in order to receive reward points. However Bluetooth Low Energy is different from Bluetooth classic, where Bluetooth low energy uses a fraction of the phone’s battery power.
You can view your customer stats right from your Merchant Portal. Simply click on “View Dashboard” to view your new customer visits, repeat visits, redemptions, your top customers, customer dempgraphics, and more. Additionally select “Reports” to retreive mored detailed information.
Your customers can only redeem one reward for a certain amount of time. This time period defaults at thirty minutes, however you can change this time period through the Merchant Portal.
Points are given to customers when they use their phone to touch the Jayu Beacon mounted on the countertop display provided to you. We recommend placing this near your point of sale. This way customers are rewarded a point for each visit after they pay for their item.
Yes! We can configure your Jayu Beacon to deliver reward points at an approximate distance to the Jayu Beacon. This way they don’t have to remember to use your rewards program, it just happens. Contact us for this option; there is no change to costs.
Please ask your customer to make sure thier Bluetooth and GPS service is on! If they received a point earlier make sure that enough time has passed to allow them to receive another point (default four hours). Additionally make sure your store hours are accurate; the Jayu Beacon will only work within those hours.
By default customers can get a point at your business every four hours. However you can easily change this between a few minutes to 24 hours.
